Welcome to Elaine Pierce Photography, Ellie and Chloe! These beautiful sisters came to me to capture a few special sibling portraits. We had another stunning January day in Benton, LA to set the stage for our portraits. I love when the weather is great and the children enjoy themselves- I could keep my camera clicking all day long under those circumstances!
Sibling portraits are something that I take very seriously because the bond between children is incredibly important. I once learned in a college sociology class that your sibling relationship will be one of the most important relationships throughout the course of your life. It is typically the longest relationship you’ll have. Think about it this way- your sibling will likely have twenty years on your spouse, and will be around for about twenty years after losing your parents.
That little pearl of wisdom stuck out to me and I try to carry that into both my personal life and my profession. When I capture siblings, I do my best to create a timeless image that will forever give the children “all the feels” when they look at it. Sure, siblings can drive us crazy, but they also bring a lot of love to the table. Ellie and Chloe were too fun to watch interacting with each other. Ellie just thought everything was hysterical, and Chloe loved singing songs!
These pretty girls had a few outfit changes to provide a variety of choices for their preview gallery. They also grabbed Mama for a special Mama and Me portrait! Individual portraits were done to freeze these special days in time. Six years old and ten months old are ages too fun not to have captured on camera!
Ellie and Chloe, I enjoyed seeing the two of you so much! Please come back and see me another day! Thank you again for trusting Elaine Pierce Photography for your portraiture needs.
