Welcome, baby Hardin! Handsome Hardin recently came to me for his newborn portraits. He brought his family with him, too! I love capturing the change in seasons for a family. It’s always exciting to see a family grow from three to four. Experiencing the beginning of a sibling bond up close and personal warms my heart. I remember my children being little and having their first few days of interactions. It is a special time and one of my favorite things to document for mom and dad! Hardin’s brother, Carson, was so sweet with his baby and did wonderfully for my camera! I hope these brothers will forever love these portraits.
Once we completed the family portraits, we moved straight into the individual portraits of Hardin. Hardin’s mother wanted to keep his photo shoot simple, so we focused on Hardin as the main attraction of his portraits. Remember, simplicity is the heart of elegance! Although simple, we pulled many props, wraps, and backgrounds out of the prop closet in our Benton, LA photography studio.
I love the portrait of Hardin yawning! His little personality seems to pop out in that sleepy photograph. The little things about a baby like his yawn, balled up fist, and tiny toes are what I strive to capture for a family. These sweet details are what make Hardin unique and set him apart from every other baby. I’m also always a fan of neutral color schemes and lots of texture in a photograph. Hardin snuggled tightly in bed with his teddy bear gives me all the heart eyes and mommy feels.
Hardin, I had a lot of fun meeting you and your family! I loved having you in my studio and hope you all come back soon, so I can watch you grow!
